It’s that time again — we have calves on the ground! The most exciting part about this time of year is that these calves are now the latest and often the best genetics available within your systems.
For those of you hanging out to see the spring, hopefully the grass grows early and the rain comes at the right time.
Yearling bull sales kick off in September and if they’ve been HD50K tested these bulls have EBVs that are both reliable and accurate. Often more affordable than a two year old bull, the yearling is of course, a great option for heifer mating.
